Subaru WRX Concept Photo Gallery

It looks radical and hints at what the next-generation Subaru WRX could look like. In traditional World Rally Blue paint, the WRX Concept looks to once again bring turbocharged performance paired with all-wheel drive to paved and unpaved roads.

The concept here in New York is a bit shorter and wider, and it has a lower roofline than today's WRX sedan. Familiar WRX appearance bits like a big hood scoop and muscular side fenders with front vents make their way onto this new concept. Other unique features include neon-yellow quad exhaust tips located on either side of a raked rear diffuser, a carbon-fiber roof and 20-inch BBS-brand wheels.

2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith Photo Gallery

Rolls-Royce unveiled a classy — yet gigantic — grand touring vehicle called the Wraith today at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. At first glance it might remind you of Rolls-Royce's much smaller Ghost, but a pronounced, slicked-back roofline, upright grille and large 21-inch wheels help form this new coupe's more aggressive stance.

Underneath the two-tone hood lies a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V-12 that churns out 624 horsepower. Rolls-Royce claims the new Wraith will sprint from zero-to-62 mph in a swift 4.6 seconds. Inside, a welcoming, luxurious cabin features seating for four, elegant open-pore wood trim, a roof liner reminding you of a night's starry sky and, of course, umbrellas in each door — a signature Rolls-Royce move.

2014 Jeep Cherokee Photo Gallery

The Cherokee is back in the Jeep lineup for the first time in nearly 13 years, and it looks drastically different compared to the tough, boxy appearance of the last generation. Call the styling ugly, unique or — as one of our editors suggested — a revolution.

Our gallery shows off the SUV's styling, sure, but we also have shots of the backseats and cargo area. Two areas of the Cherokee Jeep didn't release in photos yesterday.

Cherokee buyers can choose from a selection of four-wheel-drive systems that all feature Jeep's Selec-Terrain, allowing for effortless driving in snow, sand, mud or sport settings. There's even an available locking rear differential for serious traction. Or owners will just take it to the mall.

Volvo to Bring V60 Wagon to U.S.

VolvoV60

After repeated denials that it would do so, some as recently as last week, Volvo today announced it would in fact be bringing the V60 sports wagon to the U.S.

The company didn't reveal many details about the car American buyers will be offered but did say the car will go on sale in early 2014.

The Volvo V60 R-Design trim level is on display at the 2013 New York International Auto Show through April 7 and gives consumers a look at the more aggressively styled version of the wagon. Volvo says the rear seats fold in a 40/20/40 split but otherwise didn't provide much information about the product that is currently on sale in Europe.

We expect powertrains to be similar to what is offered in the popular S60 sedan.

More photos of the V60 are below.

High performance and luxury can be combined in a small package as the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG proves.

AMG engineers took the new entry-level subcompact luxury CLA-Class and turned it into a rocket that will sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, according to Mercedes. Power comes from a 355-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

The CLA45 AMG's exterior gets an array of aggressive styling tweaks like black wheels with massive red-painted AMG brake calipers, optional carbon fiber aerodynamic enhancements and a menacing-looking dual exhaust. Inside, the cabin gets occupants ready for the racetrack thanks to a carbon fiber and faux leather interior with red stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a shifter assembly that came straight from the gull-wing SLS AMG and bolstered sport seats.

It's orange and it’s back. Today, Land Rover took the wraps off its new 2014 Range Rover Sport, which slots alongside the recently redesigned Range Rover.

Its styling looks as if Land Rover's stunning Evoque went out on a date with the new Range Rover and never left — not that we're complaining. Power comes from either a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 that makes 340 horsepower or a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that makes a grand 510 horsepower.

Like its bigger sibling, the Range Rover, the new Range Rover Sport has Land Rover's advanced Terrain Response 2 system for effortless off-roading and is built on an all-aluminum unibody that shaves off nearly 800 pounds.

2015 Volkswagen GTI: Photo Gallery

2015VolkswagenGTI

We're not likely to see it at the dealership in calendar year 2013, but when the 2015 Volkswagen GTI does arrive, we expect the hot hatch to deliver high performance at a lower cost. That's thanks to production of both it and the 2015 Golf — debuting this week at the 2013 New York International Auto Show — heading to Mexico; production thousands of miles closer should mean thousands of dollars in savings.

More 2013 New York Auto Show Coverage

The GTI offers the highest of three revised Golf engines, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, good for 210 horsepower and mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Sport seats with a plaid cloth pattern, a black headliner and red ambient lighting, along with stainless-steel pedals, trim and shift knob, punctuate the sporty point.

We first saw the new 2014 MDX debut as a prototype at the recent 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Now Acura has given us a glimpse at the sleek, production-ready 2014 MDX set to go on sale this summer.

Apart from headlights filled with LEDs and mildly restyled front and rear ends, its new redesign isn't radical looking. Underneath lie all the changes for 2014, as this three-row SUV — now bigger, longer and lower — features a new 3.5-liter V-6, upgraded cabin interior, higher gas mileage and more features.

With break-dancing hamsters on the scene, Kia revealed its newly redesigned 2014 Soul at this year's New York International Auto Show.

More 2013 New York Auto Show Coverage

One of Kia's top-selling models, the Soul is all-new with a restyled bumper and front end, and neat, flush taillights that look like they're borrowed from the Track'ster Concept that bowed at last year's 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Overall vehicle length and width have grown, while interior cabin space and cargo volume are also up a notch. The new 2014 Soul becomes Kia's first model to offer an Android-based UVO multimedia system, which complements an 8-inch touch-screen display.
