Which 2014, 2015 Three-Row SUVs Offer Captain's Chairs?

Captainchairs

For many families, captain's chairs simply make life easier when it comes to hauling a gaggle of kids. Yes, you lose a seating position, but you gain some serenity, given at least two kids won't be sitting right next to each other, complaining about who's touching whom. They also give you easy access to the third row without having to flip and tumble the second-row seats forward, which can't be done when a child-safety seat is installed.

There are a few cars (including the Infiniti QX60 and Nissan Pathfinder) that offer second-row benches that can slide forward with forward-facing car seats installed. While this is better than nothing, it doesn't help parents with kids in rear-facing car seats. Remember, a child should sit in a rear-facing seat until age 2.

We at Cars.com appreciate captain's chairs for those reasons and more. Here's a list of 2014 (and a few 2015) models that offer this seating feature. Click here for a list of 2013 crossovers with available captain's chairs.

How about the Toyota Sequioa? Or is it being discontinued?

Clearly the Sport is a much larger vehicle. Range Rover sells their Evoque as the "smallest Range Rover ever" so that tells you something. As for features and quality in my opinion they are all comparable

Get an 8 passenger Toyota Sienna. That way you can remove the middle second row seat to create a separated middle row, and still carry 7. On occasions you need 8, you can just put the seat back in.

It will be great when President Obama finally outlaw's these awful climate change machines. No one should be able to buy one!
