Jeep continues to take heat for the non-traditional styling of its new-for-2014 Cherokee, and by the looks of its newest SUV, the 2015 Renegade, opinions are likely to be just as divided.

Jeep fans will welcome its boxy silhouette and overall rugged look, but its tiny footprint might give shoppers pause. The all-new SUV shares a platform with the Fiat 500L and is subcompact in size, matching up with the tiny Buick Encore.

I love this. I have a Dodge Dart and I am excited to test drive this when it comes out;)

Amazing. The mini CUV segment is the next big thing and this looks to be the one. They'll sell every one they can build. I can't wait to test drive one. If the HR-V and Trax are out I will test them as well, but this looks like the one to beat.

This looks like a cross between a Jeep and Scion... don't like it at all.... I want a small Jeep that LOOKS like you SHOULD take it off road... what I would like to see is a throwback of WWII jeeps only upgraded quite a bit that LOOK like they DON'T belong on a road... on on a trail.. even the new Jeeps LOOK to dainty! Whether they are or not ... well they look the part....

Get used to it. The future of automobiles will all be about fuel economy. What is now a 4 cylinder will be a 3 cylinder, the V6 will be a turbocharged 4 or a smaller 6 and V8s will be reserved for work trucks (1/2 ton and up) and luxury cars. Heck, even compact trucks (Toyota Tacoma) might shrink and become a uni-body truck similar to the Honda Ridgeline or perhaps be built with a smaller frame. Get what you what while you still can!

What I'd like to know is, if the Compass did not sell well, what makes Fiat think that this will? These pretenders do not please ANYONE, neither the Jeep loyalist nor people looking for the reason why they buy a Jeep.

WTF

They should hire Lorenzo Lamas for some nifty marketing.
