Hyundai promises an "all-new" midsize sedan for 2015. The automaker released a teaser photo of the redesigned Sonata and confirmed that the U.S. version will debut in April at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. The Sonata was last redesigned for model-year 2011, and the new version comes on the heels of a revised-for-2014 Elantra compact sedan.

Hyundai plans on unveiling the Korean-spec model later this month. Stay tuned for details.

WTF

"All-new" indeed when the greenhouse of the current car is carried over intact.

This design looks like a step backwards .
More conservative than the current "fluidic sculpture" or whatever they call it.

I'm good with the exterior, the interior is just awful though with its slab of fake wood in the passenger side (right of the radio headunit) and Toyota ripoff hvac controls (at least that's what they looked like to me). The big center console vents are nice in my book but the whole (dashboard) setup reminds me a lot of a Ford Crown Vic.
