2015 Acura TLX to Debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show

Honda is not one for surprising auto show debuts; the automaker displayed the TLX prototype (pictured) at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and now plans to unveil the production version of the sedan at the 2014 New York International Auto Show in April.

More 2014 New York Auto Show Coverage

We already know a lot about the sedan, which will go on sale this summer and replace the TL and TSX in the automaker's lineup. Powering the five-passenger sedan will be a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a 3.5-liter V-6 paired with a nine-speed automatic, a first for Honda. All-wheel drive will be available on V-6 models.

What we didn't get to see at the Detroit Auto Show was the sedan's interior, and we'll have to wait until New York for the details. The 2015 TLX will be on the Acura stand April 16. Check back with us for more details.

Hopefully Acura doesn't put the car up on the spinning platform but puts it on the floor so we can see the interior close up. It would really nice if it's unlocked so we can get in behind the wheel
