2015 Hyundai Genesis Video

No longer fighting the brand-respect battle it faced when first entering the luxury-sedan fray, the updated 2015 Hyundai Genesis brings improvements that should solidify its place in the segment. Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays got close to the new Genesis earlier this week at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, and he was impressed with its updated design, premium features and powertrain prospects. Watch the video and don't miss Mays' explanation of the cool new Smart Trunk feature.

Everything else I've read said that AWD with the V8 will be a Canadian offering only. (and that a V6 without AWD will be US only)

WTF

Put a blue oval on that grille and voila you have an upside-down F150 grille.

A brand doesn't need respect, it needs prestige. Until Hyundai decides to start a separate luxury brand, this car will only appeal to those seeking value, not to those who seek an image.

WTF:
"A brand doesn't need respect, it needs prestige. Until Hyundai decides to start a separate luxury brand, this car will only appeal to those seeking value, not to those who seek an image."

I completely agree! I wish it weren't true but until you give the consumer a nameplate to brag about you won't be legitimate. Can you imagine going up to your buddy that has a brand new 7 series BMW and saying "mines better cause I have a Hyundai Equus". You'll be laughed at.
I like Hyundai a lot I really do. I think they make fantastic cars but image plays a part whether you like it or not.

Only to people who care about what other people think. ( Hey do you think I have a cool car?).......I will be buying the Cadillac CTS-V Sport. But this makes me postpone my decision.

Hyundai was doing the hexagonal-shaped grill years before every one else started to use it.

Why would Hyundai need a separate luxury brand when the Genesis (even w/o AWD outsells the Lexus GS and Infiniti M)?

And the original LS400 appealed to "value" buyers due to the low, low MSRP of $35k (which was cheaper than an E Class) and even today, Lexus buyers overwhelmingly opt for the cheaper ES.

The Genesis model lineup offers premium luxury and was born to perform with its level of precision, power and efficiency that makes you feel like you’re driving a sport car instead of a spacious four-door sedan.

Really an amazing experience and enjoy the drive with genesis.

I must say 2015 Hyundai Genesis is coming really new features and I especially like that the google glesses which can change the driving experience.
