Top 10 Worst Car Resale Values for 2014

There's nothing worse than taking your car to a dealer and finding how little you're offered for that trade-in. You might have had a pain-free experience owning the car, but for a variety of reasons it just isn't worth as much as others on the market.

Having rented Chevrolet Captiva SUVs, I would seriously consider buying a used one AFTER that massive 62% drop in value. To me, this list is simple the "amazing used car value" list.

Isn't the Captiva Sport, like the Impala Limited, a fleet-only special?

Can't believe KIA Sedona is on the worst list. Many K-pop stars are riding Sedona(a.k.a Carnival) in their home country. One of the safest and most spacious mini-vans.

@Jae Wook It's probably because it hasn't been redesigned for nearly 10 years. And it's the only the Korean minivan there besides the Starex, which is more of a van.

Alternate headlines: "Check it out! VW still makes the Touareg." Or... "Remind Me to Buy a Titan in 3 Years.

The BMW 528i should be on the list NOW. My 2014 has a trade in value and market re-sale value 30% less than I paid for it just 8 months ago and NO way to get out of the crap car anytime soon. I leased it from Hendrick in Charlotte and hate the car. Tried to trade it back for something better... Would loose $10K just for driving it away. BMW has built a nice line of worthless valued cars. and the i4 is junky, does poor on mileage and handles very loose on the highway and in turns. I hate it!
