Pickup truck buyers who aren't interested in full-size trucks need more choices and Chevrolet's new Colorado should prove to be a compelling option, says PickupTrucks.com editor Mark Williams. The new-for-2015 truck is a combination of GM's best designs and solutions from the 2014 Silverado 1500 and the heavier-duty new global Holden Colorado, Williams says.

GM will unveil the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado this week at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. For the rest of Williams' in-depth report on the new Colorado, go to PickupTrucks.com. Looks like a Silverado on the inside and sleek styling on the outside but will it sell though?

The interior reminds me a lot of the Tacoma and I frankly expected something better than Toyota's aging interior design. Hopefully they put the development dollars into the drivetrain so it gets better mileage than the dismal numbers from the 4WD Tacoma. I've wanted to buy a new midsize pickup but the remaining ones currently on the market in some cases get worse mileage than full size trucks. I hope Chevy/GMC can provide good mileage or I'll continue to hold off on the purchase.

This truck looks so GOOD!
I see a little bit of Toyota Tacoma on the side profile and wheels. But this version vs old one, I think GM did great!

It's a truck put a v-8 in it.
