2014 Acura MDX: Explaining the Trim Levels
The redesigned MDX, Acura's three-row crossover SUV, went on sale in June, and so far the introductory prices have remained unchanged.
The MDX comes in one well-equipped price level with three available option packages — Technology, Technology and Entertainment, and Advance and Entertainment — that effectively serve as trim levels.
It is a unique tiering strategy and can be confusing. However, there are few options available. You pick one of these four packages and that's about all the customizing you can do outside of paint and interior colors.
All are available with all-wheel or front-wheel drive. The front-drive option is new for 2014, as all previous versions came with AWD.
All prices include an $895 destination charge.
