Will the Volvo V60 Wagon Offer All-Wheel Drive?

"What about a manual transmission?"

Anonymous

When Volvo announced plans at the New York Auto Show to return to the wagon business in the U.S., it gave few details about the V60 that is scheduled to go on sale here early in 2014.

Volvo recently announced all-wheel drive will be optional on the V60, while front-wheel drive is standard.

A manual transmission, however, is probably a nonstarter because all Volvo models offered in the U.S. come only with an automatic transmission. U.S. sales of the V60 will no doubt will be much lower than those of the S60 sedan (wagons just aren't big sellers here), so if you can't get a stick on the sedan, you won't get it on the wagon either.
