Cars.com Reviews the 2014 Kia Soul

2014KiaSoulVideo
With an effective, if overdue, redesign, Kia has, if you will, saved its Soul. Cars.com reviewer Kristin Varela wasn't exactly in love with the previous generation, but improvements to the 2014 Kia Soul have addressed many of its shortcomings, smoothing out a once-harsh ride, tastefully updating the interior and offering impressive features. The youth-marketed hatchback, Varela says, has grown up a bit without losing its offbeat attitude. Read the review below and decide if you could give your heart to the Soul.

They've slightly improved the front but heavily ruined the rear.

Actually...as is true of all the recent KIA re-modeling and improvements, they are well thought out and improve the vehicles over the outgoing models without beating them with "the ugly stick" as other car companies remodels sometimes do.

Evolution instead of revolution is good, in that the owners of the older models are motivated to trade up to a new model..AND people that are new to the KIA brand also snap them up.

The rear trunk is a bit controversial..but people who would buy a KIA Soul are generally looking for a new car that stands out from all the cloned Corolla/Honda/Nissans etc that the hordes of "I'll buy that because everyone else has one" sheeps.

And the Soul IS a personality on 4 wheels!

THATS what sets the KIA Soul apart from the other guys!
