PickupTrucks.com Light-Duty Challenge Puts Newest Trucks to the Test

PUTCteaser

Ram, Chevrolet and GMC recently redesigned their light-duty trucks, and Ford’s F-150 underwent a well-received overhaul prior to that heating up the extremely important segment. PickupTrucks.com teamed up with Popular Mechanics to test all six players in the segment to see which one claims bragging rights as the top truck.

I was hoping the GM truck twins would fare much better since their engines are all new, but I guess they are just average now. I think your typical Joe Suburbia who just needs a quiet, decent mpg truck who is loyal to GM should be happy. Others will probally look elsewhere. Good job to Ford for raising the bar. Looks to me Chevy
will have to fight to even keep it's #2 rating from Ram. Wow.

UPDATE: I just saw the 2014 Silverado tonight at a local dealership parked next to the 2013 model. Trucks look way too much the same driving by. Same style for possibly 14 years? Good luck GM.
