New Toyota Corolla to Debut Thursday

2014-corolla-4
It's been a while since Toyota redesigned its compact sedan — too long. Much of the Corolla's competition has been redesigned or refreshed at least once, but all that changes Thursday when Toyota will drop the curtain on a new Corolla. The automaker has kept all details under wraps, but we hope it resembles the sleek, stylish Corolla Furia concept.

Check back with us for a full report tomorrow. In the meantime, check out these teaser pics below.

This concept looks like Elantra married Civic. Well, you get Corolla

That concept appears like Elantra hitched Civic. Well, you have Corolla.

Will it have hybrid version, at least a mild hybrid.

Since the interior will resemble more than a passing glance to the Auris, I predict this will be a very (umm) polarizing car. Especially since they decided to keep the old 4 speed automatic as an option (along with a CVT).

It'll come in a number of trim levels:
L manual and 4sp
LE CVT
S manual and CVT
ECO CVT
All except L with "deluxe" and "premium" packages.

The Canadian reveal is "Friday June 7, 2013 at 9:30am EDT" so I'm guessing it'll show up here around then too.
