For 2013, Land Rover's Range Rover loses about 700 pounds and gains a more rugged looking exterior. Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley says the latest iteration of the SUV is quick, more fuel efficient and just as off-road capable as the previous version. A more comfortable ride and refined interior help the 2013 Range Rover retain its posh, uber-lux SUV status, Hanley says.

It seems that the ride of this Land Rover Range Rover 2013 has become more comfortable after losing a hell of extra weight. 700 pounds is not less.We agree with Mike Hanley that this new 2013 rover version will be easy to accelerate and it will be fuel efficient.

Thank you for comparing the differences (weight loss and gas mileage gains) between the two generation models. Though at 5k lbs, it's still considered a very heavy vehicle; but at least it's substantial enough to still be assured on the road.

Really learned a lot from the in depth review on the 2013 Range Rover. Aside from it being significantly lighter, this new version is also more technologically advanced and more comfortable than its older
counterparts. But no matter the improvements, Range Rover will always be the same capable vehicle that many come to love.
