Cars.com Reviews the 2013 Buick Verano Turbo
The addition of a turbocharged four-cylinder engine gives Buick's compact sedan some unexpected muscle. Overall, the new-for-2013 Verano turbo model adds some excitement to the lineup without compromising the car's refinement, Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays says. Watch out for the manual transmission, however. Mays says to skip the Verano's stubborn and clunky six-speed.

Since cars generally dont have lock cylinders on the trunk anymore you either get interior releases or a button on the trunk. Verano has interior release plus the key fob. My car has the release button on the trunk but no interior button.
This is also only review Ive seen on verano that criticizes the ride quality. Enthusiast mags are no fans of twist beam axles for rear suspensions, but they haven't complained about this one.
I recently had the Verano as a rental for three days and thought it was a pretty good car. I have to agree about the ride issue though.
$33 grand for a top of the the line sister Cruze? I guess I'm not a Buick guy.
Sheth,
The Verano is unlike its sibling Cruze where the Cruze has the release at the trunk which is very convenient.
Also, unlike the other Buick, namely LaCrosse and Regal. Both have it at the trunk as well.
That is a legit issue.
