2014 Jeep Cherokee Teaser Video

Chrysler has high hopes that the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee will "wake up in a city that doesn't sleep" and find it's "king of the hill, top of the heap." The automaker expresses these aspirations quite literally in a brief video teasing the debut of the new midsize SUV at next week's 2013 New York International Auto Show.

The silent video shows the Cherokee negotiating rugged desert terrain and encountering a daunting incline, which it handily mounts before climbing toward the bright sun overhead. A parting message promises the Cherokee will "See you in New York ..." — and so will we. Check back with Kicking Tires for full coverage of the New York auto show March 27. In the meantime, check out the video above.
