2014 Mazda6: Photo Gallery
The redesigned-for-2014 Mazda6's rear styling looks so good that admirers will hate to see it go, but they'll love to watch it leave. Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley says one of the midsize sedan's best features is one to which automakers sometimes don't pay much design attention, but the luxury look of the new Mazda6's posterior won't go unnoticed; the front end, with its shield-like grille, is also attractive. Those looks, along with the brand's reliably sporty driving experience and remarkably improved fuel economy, could help close the gap between the Mazda6 and segment-dominating Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Check out more images Hanley photographed during his first drive of the car below and read his review here.

I really like just about everything about this new Mazda6. One pet peeve though. How fast does anyone think they may go in this super economy MPG wise auto? Maybe 110 down a huge hill in the middle of nowhere? I really wish they would go with 120mpg speedos so they could put more space between the numbers. Who needs a 160mph speedo in a family midsize 4cyl sedan?
I "buried the needle" at 120mph plus in my youth a few times with V8 Oldsmobiles. The fact that I didn't know if I was going 125 or 130 wasn't all that traumatic.
I am surprised that nobody talks about that rear of this car is carbon copy of Sonata's rear.
Is it Mazda's revenge for Hyundai copying Mazda3 into Elantra?
TO TONY!
So what if the rear of the car looks a little like the Sonata! It is a trimmer version. Compare to hit two women. Both have glutes but one is bigger and the other one is trimmer and more attractive. Get real, dude.
Fisker Karma swoopy-ness, anyone?
To Tony,
Hyundai copied its rear from the Mazda6's concept.
I own a 2012 sonata hybrid and a 2014 Mazda 6. The Mazda is superior in very way including mpgs.
