Wondering what the next F-150 might look like? Ford is giving us a glimpse with its Atlas concept. The futuristic-looking concept truck with the "world on its shoulders" name met the press today at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Still no word on the rumored use of aluminum body panels in the next F-150?

This is an aggressive looking truck. Really like it. So is this an F-150 replacement or is it sort of a step up and replacement to the Ranger (discontinued in 2012)? It doesn't seem as wide as the full size..

As Motorhome owner need a
unit that will flat tow
without paying for a 4 X 4
that I don't need.
Some want to tow a PU to also carry our Golf cart in.
and not pay for a 4X4

Like it a lot, but don’t need 4 doors and never will. I would very strongly consider buying one if there is going to be a regular cab version. The open glove compartment, which just means that stuff, falls out in to the floor or in your lap. Must have a closeable lid.

Also with the open glove compartment with stuff in it (papers, flashlight, and work gloves etc.) it’s just going look junky, open the glove compartment in your car or truck and you will understand. Does anyone ride around with the compartment open? I take excellent care of all my vehicles inside and out all though the outside of my work truck looks like one, I keep the inside clean.

I would love to have this truck but it must come with small diesel engine and it should at least get 30mpg.

This is actually a really nice looking truck. I have never really been a truck person. But the interior of this is just amazing. I wonder how fast the Ford in Weslaco TX can get this once they start producing this... If they start to (hopefully!).

Given the current state of our planet, the last thing we need is more pickups, no matter how awesome they look...

that's exactly what we need-more trucks. more big american v-8's and diesels in big intimidating trucks. so all you sandal wearing, bearded, ponytail types hanging around the coffee shops, doing whatever you do there, can breathe in my exhaust when i pass by. and you can blog to all your friends about the al gore is a douche sticker on my truck

Put bumpers on it that you can push with. Taper the weel in the bed to allow wider cargo
