Mercedes-Benz isn't showing its new CLA on the floor of the 2013 Detroit auto show; instead, it deciding to unveil the CLA the night before things officially kicked off. That doesn’t mean we aren't giving it the same attention of cars that are unveiled at Cobo Center.

And the dilution of Mercedes as a luxury brand continues.

the interior looks anything but luxurious. Could be in a $25k car- oh wait I guess this will be a $25k mercedes. Which begs the quesiton "what is the point of this?"

Looks like Mercedes is trying to compete with the Acura ILX and Buicks of the world.

Oh wow, that is one great-looking car. With the low drag and small engine, the MPG should be excellent. The luxury compact market may not be huge, but I think young urban DINKS and empty-nesters will flock to it in coming years.
