Dodge is dressing up its compact sedan for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show: The Mopar version of the 2013 Dart will make its debut at the show next week. The limited-edition car rides on 18-inch glossy black wheels and features a lowered suspension, revised steering tuning, sport-tuned exhaust and upgraded brakes.

Under the hood is the Dart's turbocharged 1.4-liter four cylinder and six-speed manual transmission. The hood itself is finished in glossy black paint and two blue racing stripes. It also adds a ground-effects kit with a front chin spoiler, deck lid spoiler and unique rear diffuser.

Inside, the driver's seat is blue leather; the others are black with blue contrast stitching. There's also a wireless charging system for smartphones; Dodge says it's an industry-first.

Only 500 Mopar Darts will be built, each with a serialized badge on the dashboard. The Dart is the fourth special-edition Mopar vehicle released, following the 2010 Dodge Challenger, 2011 Dodge Charger and the 2012 Chrysler 300. Check out the photo gallery below.
