2013 BMW M5 Video

Like competitors in the high-performance sedan segment, the 2013 BMW M5 is big on bigness: big engine, big brakes, big wheels. But there are a few big differences that distinguish it from the pack, says Cars.com reviewer Joe Bruzek. Its giggle-inducing quickness, optional six-speed manual transmission and gimmicky feature that reproduces engine roar in stereo are three of them. Before you drop more than $100,000 on the M5, you'd be wise to try out both transmissions and determine if you find the six-speed manual as "sloppy" as Bruzek did.
