Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster: Photo Gallery
Lamborghini's luxury super-coupe is getting a droptop version, the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. It should be just as fast as its
sibling: The convertible borrows the coupe's 700-horsepower, 6.5-liter V-12. Lamborghini says it's good for a zero-to-62-mph run in
three seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
The Roadster uses a two-piece Targa-like top made of carbon fiber. The automaker says each weighs just 13 pounds, and the pieces can be stowed in the front luggage compartment. It also sports 20-inch forged aluminum rims in front and 21-inchers in the rear.
The Aventador coupe was introduced in the summer 2011; the convertible will make its public debut at the Geneva International Motor Show next March. The Aventador LP700-4 Roadster starts at 300,000 euro, or $381,600 at today's exchange rate. Check out more photos after the jump.

Side by side the Averntador is so much better than the 458. Sure its all a matter of taste, but if your gonna be in that tax bracket purchasing a supercar, i think it should be one that fits the mold best. The Avenator has the looks sounds speed of its heritage, the 458 is the best looking Ferrari in ages but for some crazy reason, it seems to lack something in its design. I give the 458 points for being more 'daily usable' and gas effecient over the lambo. but here the lambo wins.
