Hyundai Veloster C3 Roll Top Concept: Photo Gallery
Hyundai's three-door Veloster Turbo hatch was already cool-looking, with its shooting-brake silhouette, LED-accented lights and gaping grille. But Hyundai's new concept will really make the hipsters drool.

The Veloster C3 Roll Top Concept has a canvas convertible top and a trucklike tailgate, an interior made of recycled skateboards and an exterior inspired by a fixed-gear bike. A glossy white body combined with flat red and flat teal round out its eye-catching looks. Check out the photos below.

I love the veloster, I would love a rag top one more.. But this concept has a wee bit too much going on..
This needs to be seen on pickuptrucks.com; this is exactly what was 'teased' several months ago as to whether it would qualify as a truck or a car.
However, I have to ask why they chose to put the front-wheel rack for the bike so far back in the 'bed' and waste all that space in front of it? Based on the photos (they could be better) that bike could almost fit entirely within the body of the car perhaps using a half-up latch for the 'tailgate' for better security of both bikes and any other incidental cargo.
Secondly, while I have no complaint about the teal wheels (other than the fact I wouldn't have them) why did they have to put teal just on the back? The look, as the car sits in these photos says, "I'm wearing my compact spare on the front!" Eye-catching? Certainly. Enough to garner sympathy for the driver of this rig.
If teal is back it must be 1993 calling!
But, well,,, you've probably never heard of it before
(Personally I remember the early 90's fondly.)
I understand all car makers need to do SOMETHING to get the millennials to even care about driving, but as an outreach to the younger demographic this comes across as a little "desperate".
WTF. I've never wanted to buy a Hyundai. But this would be my next car if they build it. Disappointed Ford or Chevy did not build this. BTW, google search "Open Cargo Coupe" to see where they stole the idea from. I should sue them.
