Subaru's new XV Crosstrek has off-road-ready looks and the goods to back it up, says Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley. Its 8.7-inch ground clearance and capable all-wheel-drive system appeal, but the limited cargo room is a disappointment, Hanley says.
2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Review
I still don't get why people buy these cars. It has to be the reliability and the AWD. Because the interior looks circa 1987.
yeah, definitely function over form. But have you looked at the corolla and escape. Sold like hotcakes and their interiors were worse. Dont know about the brand new ones though.
The interior is fine, as good as many. No big frills, but hey, we're talking $22k. Subarus still provides the best AWD bang for the buck. I have driven my Crosstrek for 1,500 miles and it's great, though the ride is a little stiff. Ignore the reviews that say it is underpowered. It is no sports car, but easily powerful enough for normal use of any kind. Check it out, if you can find one. They are selling well.
