Cars.com Family Reviews the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
The top-of-the-line Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 seems to have it all, says Cars.com Family reviewer Courtney Messenbaugh. The exterior looks sporty and athletic while the interior is luxurious and comfortable. The showstopper is its 470-horsepower, 6.4-liter V-8 engine that roars with delight when you step on the gas. There's always a downside to powerful engines, though, and in the Grand Cherokee SRT8, it's low fuel economy.

Hmmmm, no mention of how the kiddie seats affected the quarter mile times,,,
If you don't need all the horses, you can always opt for the Overland Summit trim with either a V6 or a 5.7 V8.
We opted for the V6 model and the gas mileage is just as bad as any of the V8s. It all depends on driving style and whether or not you keep the pedal to the metal.
