2014 Acura RLX: Photo Gallery
Acura's RLX replaces the brand's flagship RL sedan for 2014. It's both wider and sleeker looking than the car it replaces. The RLX's full-LED headlamps stand out, as does its grille, which is a softer interpretation of Acura's much-maligned shield grille.

interior is way better than exterior. I do not like how LED lights look on most cars and the front end of this car is a let down, but its not unexpected for Acura. This car isn't ugly, but it completely fails to stand out vs cars like the A6 and 5 series or even the GS.
Needs a V8. This will never be competative
What senior official at Acura/Honda approved the exterior design? It took 8 years to come up with this. They haven't had a solid design since the previous gen TL. The interior looks spot on though with the dual screens.
as usual, this honda design is hurt by the fact that they refuse to compromise on the greenhouse proportions. As a result this car looks very conservative and very formal in its profile. If you take off the LED lights this could be a design from 6-7 years ago easily. Most folks will think this is just a refresh of the 2012 model.
The headlights are awesome.
Does it have red turn signals?
If so, how low brow.
That's funny George, I always thought 2 color tails were more understated and therefore more appropriate on upscale cars, while 3 color tails (red, clear & amber) were more "sporty".
I can't believe Acura is trying to pass this off as the new RL. It looks like a slightly enlarged TL with LED headlights. With a grille and led headlights that will be on this car, I expected the rest of the car to have a cutting edge look; but instead, it appears kinda soft.
STOP TALKING CRAP THIS CAR LOOK NICE... HONDA OR ACURA CAN MAKE THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD AND SOME PEOPLE WILL TALK SHT ANYWAY
Amazing car
Planning to buy Honda accord
but will move to this
Acura is still making crap. When they got rid of the Legend they got rid of me. I did purchase an 02 RL that I kept for 3 years. It was junk so until Acura gets back to it's roots and starts building nice looking car again they can kiss my a$$ good bye.
This would convince anyone to buy the new Accord.
Sheth is correct about the greenhouse. The car looks old and stodgy. The front end is terrible. It has an even worse version of the corporate beak and the headlights are ridiculous, especially on this type of car. If the rear end didn't have the acura logo, you'd think it was the new Chrysler 200.
The dual screens on the interior is nice, but the overall feel of the center stack and dashboard is decidedly inelegant. If this is Acura's flagship, they are in more trouble than I thought.
I agree with jyd. In fact, before I read the thread here, finding it through Google. I googled these words, "2014 Acura RLX Chrysler 200", to find it. I give credit to the attempt, but I don't favor the outcome of the design with much to be desired, unfortunately.
