Subaru's new BRZ is a lightweight, fun-to-drive coupe that brings some excitement back to the brand's lineup, says reviewer Joe Wiesenfelder. The BRZ and its mechanical twin, the Scion FR-S, are entertaining, affordable sports cars with mostly minor shortcomings, Wiesenfelder says.

The 86 badge is paying homage to the AE86, also known as Corolla GT-S. It was a front engine rear wheel drive compact car.
If the homework is done correctly, it would not have mentioned the Celica instead.
