Cars.com Reviews the 2012 Nissan Murano

perhaps according to the EPA, but MPG according to independent research such as CR still has the Murano leading the pack.
All it needs is the updated V6 CVT from the new Altima.
From the reviewer, "The Murano is a peculiar-looking crossover; always has been. If you can get past that, or like it, rewards await you inside."
Maybe not quite Aztec-ugly, but odd enough that many dont select it, mpg notwithstanding.
Still weird looking, I don't know about outdated. Women seem to love these
