Infiniti has been busy expanding its G lineup to better compete with BMW's diverse 3 Series lineup; the 3 Series is the best-selling luxury model in America, to date. The new high-performance IPL version of the 2012 G37 coupe is exhilaratingly fun to drive, according to Cars.com Editor Jennifer Geiger, but can it compete with the BMW M3 and Lexus IS-F?

Good review, Jennifer. I have experience with a G37S 6MT and agree with most of your review. However, I long for more torque. I think the car is slightly underpowered for the price and based on your review, I think the IPL is more than slightly underpowered for its price.
