It's convertible season, and if you're shopping for an affordable four-seat hardtop convertible, the Chrysler 200 is your main option. Though it has a well-made and attractively designed cabin and a roomier-than-expected trunk, a lack of ride composure and sloppy brakes are two big disappointments, according to Cars.com Editor Jennifer Geiger.

In a separate investigation, the ODI is looking into about 83,000 2011 Ford Explorer SUVs because of 15 owner complaints that the electric power steering system failed, making it more difficult to steer the vehicle. According to the ODI, some owners were able to fix the problem by turning their Explorer off and restarting it. Others said that even after restarting the vehicle, it happened again. No accidents or injuries have been reported.
