2013-Acura-ILX

Earlier this year, Acura said its ILX compact will be priced well below $30,000; the automaker is sticking to the plan. The newest Acura on the block will start at $25,900 when it goes on sale next month. Prices for the 2013 ILX top out at $34,400.

Acura’s smallest sedan will be available with three powertrains:

  • The ILX 2.0 uses a 150-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and adds optional Premium and Tech packages.
  • The ILX 2.4 comes in a single Premium trim and features a 201-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
  • The brand’s first hybrid uses a 111-hp 1.5-liter powertrain and is available in base Hybrid trim or with the Tech package. It's EPA rated at 39/38 mpg city/highway.

Standard features include keyless entry and push-button start, Pandora internet radio interface and SMS text message functionality. The Premium Package adds heated leather seats, an upgraded stereo, a multiview rearview camera and Active Sound Cancellation system. The Technology Package adds features such as ELS surround sound audio, AcuraLink multimedia functionality with voice recognition and a navigation system with a 60-gigabyte hard drive.

Full pricing is below. All prices exclude the $895 destination fee. The 2013 ILX will be manufactured at Honda's Greensburg, Ind., plant and will go on sale May 22.

Wow...less for more. You can get a bigger car in the TSX with a V-6 for $35K. I dont see buyers forking over that kind of dough for what should have been the current Honda Civic.

sheth

Too pricey for that kind of hp

Adam

Oh Acura, you are still lost

Julio

Fully loaded for that price? This isn't even worth bringing out. Acura is on crack.

The ILX should come standard with Leather, more powerful engine, 200hp and a six speed Trans under 30K 29??. I drive 2012 TL. My daughter 34 is thinking about the ILX, I will tell her I think Honda has goofed on this one.
