The mini will be positioned below the Chevrolet Sonic in terms of pricing, size and features. That doesn't mean the Spark is without tech gadgetry; there's a 7-inch touch-screen available and Chevy's new multimedia system, called MyLink.

wow, this looks like it should have been titled "2013 Chevrolet Spark: Up Close"...if only kelsey hadn't wasted that title with his four photos and opinion-riddled rant...yes that's sarcasm.
Very concerned about the MyLink system. Did they demonstrate that? Did you guys get a chance to play around with it?
Good one cody, you really nailed em.
This car is so hideous. It looks like some awful combination of a Fit, IQ, and terrible GM styling.
If they had just put the front end of the Aveo on this car it would look so much better.
I thought the front was going to look like this:

They uglified the front, a shame.
Kind of hurts to look at it, but it's probably a handy little runabout for urban use. Maybe you get used to the funky looks after a while.
Oh wow. The inside is tolerable but the outside. I dunno what it is but it looks like it's been stretched each and every way to the max allowed by physics.
Take a look @ the pic on interior door trim - boy, that's terrible fit/finish.
a prime example of a car I want to like but can't (after seeing the US/Canada engine/transmission specs and reviews of the Australian version).
"But the latest Barina’s drivetrain belongs on the D-list. Truly. The dynamics are distinctly average."
....
"But, despite a general air of robust quality, the cheap, loose-fitting carpet in our test car jarred. And the bench itself, sufficiently comfy on short-haul journeys, started to feel flat and under-padded on longer jaunts."
i agree with FK. i want to like this car, but the plastics used in the interior look too cheap for my taste. the overall design is nice, but the gray plastic reminds me of that used in the nissan versa....at least based upon these photos. if this car comes in around the same price point, i don't think that will be a problem...
The interior looks like what a spiced up Tata Nano would look like.
