Visual changes are pretty typical for an M car with a gaping front lower grille, quarter-panel vents and quad-tip exhaust. Under the new M5's hood is a twin-turbocharged V-8 replacing the previous M5's V-10.

this interior is incredibly dull for such an expensive sports sedan. THey really shouldve made more changes inside.
The entire thing is boring. And silver doesn't help.
The M5 is not a boy racer anymore. You'd have to be in the know, to know, that it's special. Though not having a V10 does loose some bragging rights.
That already proven the new m5 is way faster then the v10 one its way better looking them the old one inside and out.only thing I dont like about it is they pump fake amplified v8 engine noises thru the speakers others then that its one of the vast cars that is common to the U.S next year.the v8 is so advanced it beat the new 2013 Mercedes Benz e63 5.5 biturbo. This car is a beast
