New Chevy Colorado Is Coming to U.S.
While Ford and Dodge have confirmed that they’re scuttling their smaller pickups for America — the Ranger and Dakota, respectively — Chevy announced today that it will hold steadfast with its Colorado midsize pickup for the U.S. (The vehicle made its global debut last week in Thailand.) Production details, timing and pricing will be announced at a later date, but you can expect the Colorado to be more fuel efficient and affordable compared with the full-size Chevy Silverado. No word if the GMC Canyon — a virtual twin to the existing Colorado — will also survive the redesign process. For more info, continue reading at PickupTrucks.com.

This up-coming EPA regulation is really starting to take its toll on pick-up trucks. These Colorados look soft. The front end is off of the Malibu sedan. Where's the chrome and rugged appearance package?
It looks like the traverse from front. whats the mpg? are the crash test results any better?
They seem pretty Nissan-esque from the A-pillars back to me....not that there's anything wrong with it.
Looks like a sawed off Uplander. :-(
Just what America needs, with all the un-employment, GM is shipping jobs out of the country. I hope American tell them where they put their Asian built truck. I don't mind the look of it but it should be built in the U.S. if they plan on selling it here.
Roy your an idiot, if you read the article its being built in Louisiana. I think its better than the current Colorado, and I hope they put the two diesels in the U.S version.
If you really want to impress truck buyers, stun them. Build a small/mid-sized COE (Cab Over Engine) pick-up, like Suzuki's show demo. Optional small diesel engines, replaceable beds..
I am glad i just bought a 2012 colorado. The new ones look just like a nissan frontier, but i guess it could be worse, could be like dodge and ford. (Dont care enough about the consumer or 5 bucks a gallon) You can only buy a big truck
