The Nissan Leaf has proven it’s possible to make an electric car with only a few trade-offs — besides limited range. Now, Infiniti hopes it can do the same with a luxury electric vehicle it will launch in 2014.

It teased the upcoming five-seater with the sketch above and only said it will offer some sort of performance capability. Considering the added cost of electric vehicles, making them more luxurious at a premium price might be a smart move.
