The Cars of the Chicago Blizzard of 2011
One of the worst storms in Chicago history (currently the third worst) touched down Tuesday and continues today. Cars.com’s editorial staff took to the street — and, in some cases, their own driveways — to find some amazing shots of cars stuck in the snow. There are some photos of people digging their way out, and even one person who managed to park and then dig himself out of a sidewalk.
For your own amusement, feel free to take guesses regarding the make and model of some of these snowed-in autos in the comments below. We’ll update this post with more photos throughout the rest of the day.
Update: The blizzard has passed Chicago but the snowbound car photos continue. Newest photos are at the top of the set below.

One of those cars is the one I left sitting there 15 years ago when I left Chicago. There was no way I was giving up that parking space!
I'm pretty sure that the third photo from the bottom is Dave's Subaru Outback.
New color for the Chevy Aveo - 2 tone! (White/Red)
Looks like a BMW 5-Series 2 pics below the silver Jeep Liberty and 3 pics below the Honda Pilot.

The car 3 pics below the Honda Pilot looks like a BMW 5-Series or new Buick.

Wow!!! That is a ton of snow!! Good luck guys!!
Thank you for posting these! I feel so bad for those living in Chicago. Hope they got to work all right! Phoenix is having some "bad" weather too but definitely nothing comparable to what's going on in the Midwest and East Coast.
I heard you guys got 2 feet dumped there. We were forecast for 1 and a half, but only got about 10 inches.
I'm glad I live in Texas near the coast!!!! You can keep all that mess.
Texas coast never gets hurricanes? talk about a mess.
My condolences to you Chicagoans! I moved from KS to Las Cruces, NM last year to get away from the snow. We got 2" here!!! Argh!!!
THE LAST WINTER I WAS THERE IT LOOKED THE SAME
