2011 Infiniti M37 Video

Late last year, Infiniti quietly unveiled its redesigned M Series, which features a new V-6 and exterior and interior updates. While the ash wood trim with silver powder finish, optional leather-sewed dash and suede-like headliner are valued additions, is there enough opulence here for Infiniti to keep up with the BMWs and Mercedes of the world? Watch the video to see what Cars.com senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder thinks of the 2011 M37 and how it stacks up in the midsize luxury sedan segment.

"...optional leather-sewed dash and suede-like headliner..."

I believe that should be leather-sewn.

And the exterior of this thing is overdone. It definitely won't age well, a problem shared with most Infinitis.

Two issues. First, I think if you compare trunk capacities with the E class and the 5 series, you'll find them to be very similar (couldn't find numbers on their websites). Second, you reviewed the M37, but I think you priced the M56.

@AP leather-sewed or leather-sewn are both correct in that circumstance.

Lansdowne Mike,
Nope, the price at the end of every video is "as tested" which includes every option and destination. When we report pricing we start with the lowest MSRP w/out destination.

Our test cars are usually loaded to the gills with options so we can write about all of the features available. This was the case here.

Beautiful car.I love the lines. Infiniti has come along way with the quality of the interiror. I love the looks of it. I would love one with the V6 with the Sports pkg.
I can't help but wonder if there ever will be a return of the Q. To compete with the 7, A8, S, LS crowd.
