A reader wants to know how much safer a Toyota Camry is compared to the Toyota Corolla in a crash, and Ask.cars.com explains any differences. Then, PickupTrucks.com reports on a lawsuit filed against India-based Mahindra over its truck delays. Finally, MotherProof.com reviews the 2010 Acura TL, a sporty sedan that our reviewer finds slightly less than family friendly.

Bob

The TL review is not on MotherProof but rather Cars.com. Either way it does not make much of a difference as the dolt only pointed out the obvious. It's not very attractive and it's not a true family car. No kidding really!

DL

I really like most of motherproof reviews -- they are not the least bit afraid to rip on cars' shortcomings.

Most reviews, especially the ones from newspapers and often the car magazines, are truely worthless because they essentially repeat the carmaker's own commercial about how wonderful the car is. Look at the car magazines' comparisons -- even the dead-last place gets great reviews about how it performed wonderfully, just not quite as perfect as the winner but still great ... blah blah

Bob,

you'll notice that the reviewer is actually from motherproof.com. You probably don't give a hoot, but I appreciate that Lori was able to tell us what it's like in the back seat, especially for kids. Most reviews just have a little blurb about the size of the backseat, or just bitch how it doesn't fit the reviewer's 6-ft-10 frame. Keep up the good work, Lori and motherproof!

btw Bob, my G37x handles a rear-facing child seat much better than our p.o.s. Forester (which superficially seems more of a family-friendly vehicle than the G37).
