Lexus to Recall 2010 GX 460 SUV

2010lexusgx460recalled
Today, Lexus announced it would issue a recall for the 2010 GX 460, which fell under scrutiny last week after Consumer Reports found a fault with the SUV and issued a “Don’t Buy” recommendation.

Lexus says the recall of nearly 6,000 SUVs in the U.S. will begin in the next two weeks and will focus on the electronic stability system.

The company says it will continue to offer loaner cars to any owners until the work is completed. We expect the recall will be posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration next Monday.

Customers can contact Lexus at 800-255-3987 with any questions or concerns.

I am so glad that i did not purchased the 2010 lexus GX last 2 months.

I owned many Lexus since 1992. I can see local dealers in Austin, Tx and Houston, Texas is getting provide a lousy service and cause more problem once your vehicle in the shop.

I complaint to Lexus USA and they did not do a darn thing. Well Lexus, you will lose me and my entire family as your customers.

Wow, looks like maybe Toyota did learn a lesson from how poorly they handled the acceleration issue. Good.

i dont know about all this. i have a porsche 944 and if i were to slide it sideways at 70 m.p.h. and hit a curb, im sure that car would probably flip as well.

And there again is the point, paul. Make it so the car isn't likely to slide sideways. But they weren't going 70; more like 50 by the time they got deep in the curve.
