Thief Tsk-Tsks Car Owner

Carthief
Talk about adding insult to injury.

After a thief broke into a car in Aurora, Ill., during the early morning hours, the crook left behind a note just rubbing it in.

“I could have taken your vehicle, too,” it said.

The thief only took a Garmin GPS unit and a Bluetooth earpiece from the car, but after finding the keys sitting on the console unguarded, the thief apparently put them in the ignition just to make a point, police said.

In this case, we’re going to have to side with the thief: The console is a pretty awful place to leave your keys.

Arrogant thief and idiot car owner ... what is this country coming to! ;)

Oh, and if the quote is accurate, I'm mildly impressed that the thief did not write, "could of" or "to."

Maybe in a weird way, the thief might teach the owner to be wiser when parking his car, and the gps and bluetooth was his teaching fee, hahha.

I'm all for crime mixed with a little humor, even more so when it teaches someone a lesson that should really be common sense.

My previous neighbor, a former all American wrestler, caught a thief in his car while it was parked in his company's garage. He ended up wrestling with the thief who ended up striking his head on the garage floor and dying. The local DA sided w/ him and didn't press any charges. I guess in that case crime didn't pay.

I have read about electrical problems on e-cars regarding Headlights problem and it is deeply more enrooted to the car's central electronics as compared to regular gas-based cars.
