Dog Subdued After Attacking Four Cars

Police in Chattanooga, Tenn., had to use pepper spray and a Taser to subdue a 3-year-old pit bull after it attacked four cars, including two police cars.

What’s even more amazing is the damage this dog, Winston, managed to do. After chewing into the tires, he managed to tear the bumper off one of the squad cars. Winston’s owner, Nancy Emerling, told reporters she was surprised the police did not shoot her dog. She went on to say that Winston had never shown that kind of aggression toward anything other than “lawn equipment” and that she thinks the police car’s strobing blue lights or possibly the radar gun might have set him off.

Emerling was cited for allowing Winston to escape his two-fence enclosure. Winston is being held at the McKamey Animal Center, where animals involved in bite cases or other legal cases are kept. He has yet to show any signs of aggression since arriving there.

The case is scheduled to go before a city court judge on March 25.

Dogs like this have no business living as it's just a matter of time before they attack a child or adult. A couple of crushed rat poison pills and hamburger meat cures problems like this.

This is sick and it is called murder. This dog needs to be managed, not killed. It's always the owner's fault, not the dog's. When you take good care of a dog it does not do these kinds of things.

When a dog escapes a two-fence enclosure and attacks four cars I don't care who owns it as the dog is the problem. Also you don't need to have rat pills on hand as crushed glass works too.

Too bad we can't feed Pence some crushed glass and rat poison.

My old neighbors dog in college wouldn't stop barking and they refused to do anything about it. 'Some one' fed it two large chocolate bars and the dog went to sleep and never woke up. I 'heard' the dog was vomiting, had a seizure, and dropped dead. Imagine that. It was very quiet from that moment on.

Wow, the trolls really came out in force on this one. Kind of surprising really.
BTW, Pence, troll grade on first post was a solid B based on careful choice of subject matter directed at those with strong emotions. Second was only a C+ though as it really was a bit too over the top to be bought into. Wilson, troll grade C+ as well, but mostly because the trolling had already been beat to death by Pence by the time you arrived.
