Vaulting to third place in its first week, the Volkswagen GTI may find even more appeal in the coming weeks. In the lower half of the list, the Ford Fusion manages to crack the top 10. I'm surprised the Kia Sorento review didn't break the top 10.

VW has had for a long time a less-than-average record when it comes to reliability and quality control of many of their vehicles, regardless of where they're originally sourced from. But I keep hearing that "they're better than they used to be" over and over again, ad nauseum.
