D.C. Auto Show Focuses on Policymakers

Among the new cars on display at the 2010 Washington Auto Show, which opens Wednesday, Jan. 27, will be D.C. insiders and officials looking to see how the government’s money is being spent, as well as new technology. Legislators and government officials are scheduled to make the rounds, and Ford CEO Alan Mulally will officially open the show.

Despite all the folks walking over from Capitol Hill, it’s still chiefly a show for the public to see the latest cars, trucks and SUVs. There will be an area called the “Advanced Technology SuperHighway” showcasing electric and other alternative fuel technologies.
