Cars.com Names 2010 Lifestyle Award Winners

Cars.com’s reviewers get a chance to test drive dozens of vehicles each year, and besides grading them on their individual merits, they can size up how each vehicle would suit different needs. Although one midsize sedan may be great for a long commute, that same car might not be able to pull its weight for a big family frequently hauling sports equipment to soccer or hockey practices.

That’s why Cars.com has the Lifestyle Awards, which identify different vehicles best-suited to a particular driver’s specific needs. Categories include Eco-Friendly Car of the Year, Family Car of the Year, Work Car of the Year and Play Car of the Year.

In addition to the overall winners, Cars.com’s editorial team names the top picks and best deals for several winners of subcategories that recognize outstanding performance at a reasonable price.

Read about all the 2010 Cars.com Lifestyle Awards here, then check out the winners for the 2010 Mother Proof Awards, which this year includes the Mother of All Cars Award.
