Geek Squad Gets New Geeky Car

The Geek Squad — those tech-savvy guys you call to set up your new high-def entertainment system — is one in a long line of companies that have used the Volkswagen New Beetle as its corporate car of choice. So it seems appropriate that on the same day that VW announced the Final Edition of the New Beetle at the 2009 L.A. Auto Show, Mitsubishi announced it will lease its i-MiEV electric car to the Geek Squad. Only four examples of the jelly bean-like i-MiEV are to be leased, though, so the chance of seeing one at your door when electronics woes hit will be remote.
