2011 Volvo C30 Gets $500 Price Increase

2011Volcoc30

When a model year turns over we’re often surprised to see a price bump of around $500 when relatively little has changed about the car in question. The 2011 Volvo C30’s price is $500 more than the 2010 model, but it gets a significant overhaul in the style department. Now the front end is as fetching as the glass rear.  While the changes aren’t as noticeable, even the back end has gotten slight modifications. The 2011 C30 will start at $24,600 before an $850 destination charge; it goes on sale in late January or early February.

The engine remains the same — a 227-horsepower, turbocharged five-cylinder with six-speed manual transmission standard. There’s also an R-Design model, which starts at $26,950 or $650 more than the 2010 version.

Package pricing and more photos of the new 2011 C30 by our staff photographer Ian Merritt, which were taken at last week’s L.A. Auto Show, are below. We’ve also thrown in a shot of the 2010 C30 to show how big the changes really are.

Too expensive to wake people up. I love it though.

don't see many on the road, kinda like the Saturn Astra, too much for most people. $400 for Satellite radio is a bit much considering the new Kias & others have it standard!

Beautiful! I own a black 2008 C30 and I think it's fantastic! This one looks beautiful. It doesn't matter to me that it cost $500 extra, I would still buy it.
