Cars.com Reviews the 2010 Lincoln MKT

10MKT
The boldly styled 2010 Lincoln MKT has a grille that looks like the maw of the T-Rex from “Jurassic Park,” but that isn’t the only thing about the MKT that will grab your attention. As Cars.com reviewer David Thomas explains, the MKT has been built and priced to dominate the luxury-crossover market without apologies. Allow him to explain how this crossover could succeed in his full review of the MKT.

interior reminds me of 1st gen CTS...nice but not very lux like! Looks quite similar 2 less expensive new Taurus!

oh btw...some parts of country are near $3/gal gas so it's not quite gone 4 all...

d,
yeah gas was probably 15 cents cheaper when I started writing the review. Goodpoint.

I would say the interior is far above that of the Taurus and pretty close to Lexus if not already nicer than the Acura MDX.

Don't discount it without seeing it.

Might cannibalism be a problem with this model, e.g., buyers choosing a loaded Flex EcoBoost over this?

Bob,
I doubt it. I think Lincoln buyers are really not shopping Ford and the styles are SO different too.

I don't mind the style of the Flex but loved the MKT's looks. I heard many others feeling the same one way or the other.

The MKT also has a lot more standard features and is more expensive so I don't think it'll even steal folks from the top Flex trim. But that's the only area I could see some cannibaliztion.

My mind's still boggled by the list of standard features. Unfortunately I don't think it's gonna be quite the seller (even in a niche market) that people are predicting, but only time will tell.
