2009 Cash-Back Deals You Can Still Find

2009Mazda6
As the 2010 models push out nearly all of the old 2009s on dealer lots, a lot of buyers become annoyed by valid, advertised cash-back offers on 2009 cars that basically aren’t available anymore.

We tracked down some interesting offers on 2009s that are:
a.)    Cars we wouldn’t mind buying
b.)    Have a significant cash-back offer
c.)    Readily available, according to Cars.com’s new-car inventory

Check out our list below. And if you want to search our inventory scroll to the end of the post for handy links for each model.
2009 Mazda 6
  • MSRP: $18,550
  • Deal: 0% financing and $1,500 cash back
  • Availability:  About 10% — less than 500 — of the Mazda6s in Cars.com's national inventory are from the 2009 model year, but they’re worth finding.

2009 Mazda CX-9
  • MSRP: $29,820
  • Deal: 0% financing and $1,750 cash back
  • Availability: 227 left nationally

2009 Cadillac CTS-V

  • MSRP: $58,575
  • Deal: $5,000 cash back
  • Availability: While there are only 100 or so 2009 models in our inventory, there are very few 2010s — just over 140 — on dealer lots. The 2010 model has a $1,750 cash-back offer. With no significant changes to the 2010 performance model, opting for a 2009 equals an extra $3,250 in cash back.

2009 Chevy Traverse
  • MSRP: $29,215
  • Deal: $2,500-$3,500 cash back
  • Availability: More than 10% of new Traverses in stock are 2009s, and there were few changes for the 2010 model year. The $3,500 cash-back offer is for the most expensive LTZ trim.

2009 Suzuki SX4 Sport, Crossover
  • MSRP: $15,999, $16,099
  • Deal: $3,000 in combined cash back on Sport sedan and Crossover
  • Availability: Almost all of the SX4s in our inventory are 2009s; the 2010s are just reaching dealers.
Incentives and expiration dates vary by region. Make sure to check with our incentives page or the automakers' sites.
