2010 Chevy Camaro Vs. Drive-Thru

Camaro

The guys over at Consumer Reports have found a bit of a drawback to the new Chevy Camaro. All that cool design work has led to a car that doesn’t handle the drive-through well. Consumer Reports’ auto blogger Jim Travers explains “Visibility in general is not a Camaro strong suit, but when you can’t see the ATM you’re sitting next to, it takes a lack of a view to new heights. Or lows. I had to crane my neck just to see where the machine spat out my receipt, let alone reach it. And forget about opening the long, wide door to make things easier. There’s no room for that, either.”

Travers says the issue isn’t a “deal-breaker,” so go ahead and pull the trigger and learn to park and use the walk-up ATM.

Form over Function. What else could it be?

am i to feel sorry/sad about this? should i cry a river?

Paul

Thats one ugly car.Mustang and Challenger have it all over that thing.

To each their own.

Note to Consumer Reports:
Your next expose' should be on how a Suburban can't fit into parking spots designated for compacts only. Or perhaps how a Corvette driver will never be able to use an HOV-3 lane.

H,
They are just showing how daily routines can be affected by a choice of vehicle.
If the Camaro is a track toy like Lotus Elise, I have nothing to say about this report, but the Camaro is a pony car which can live with everyday.

GM did a poor job designing the car as it's made for munchkins. I'm no fan of Ford but I'd take the Mustang every day of the week.

But drive-thru's are SO AMERICAN! What the heck GM, don't you like us overweight hillbilly's?? You expect us to get out of our car to overdose on sugar and fat? PLEASE! Let's not focus on the real strong points against the car; like poor plastics, transmission issues, and low reliability forecast! RIP GM

JC: your (lack of) punctuation & capitalization make me want to cry an ocean

Don't be a hater- if you work real hard and become head grill cook one day you might be able to afford a new Camaro

You forgot to mention that the new Camaro's design is probably Obama's fault

cody

i don't think many of the cars in this catagory would fair well in the 'atm test'. it seems that atm heights are geared more toward minivans and suvs.

Juan Carlos

lobo, I am not like you. you will still blame bush 20 years from now on things he will have nothing to do with. see, camaro was pre-obama, so i can't blame him or credit him for that matter. now that you actually know that the camaro came to be under bush, you just might blame bush for this. we know your kind.

JC: it's called sarcasm- have your "English as a second language" teacher explain it to you.

We know your kind- the kind that aren't nearly as clever or intelligent as they like to think they are.
