What Feature Would You Invent for Cars?

Let’s say you could add any feature to your car, or invent an entirely new one. What would you choose? Lindsay Bjerregaard and Stephen Markley hit up the 2009 Taste of Chicago festival to find out what people want from the cars of the future. They got just about every answer, from a toilet to space travel, but for the really bizarre choices, you’ll have to watch the video.

A modular cockpit/drivetrain/powertrain which can be hooked up to a truck cargo body, a passenger van body, a camper/sleeper body, etc.
2 Person cockpit up front with a ford 1.6 liter ecoboost for good gas mileage and a rear end that can be swapped out in 10 minutes or less.

Or just leave off the body entirely for best MPG.

I have invented a way to make small cars safer in collisions. It solves the problem of small cars being less safe than large cars.

Making cars smaller and lighter is the easiest way to get better fuel economy.

Please help me promote this invention which will save gasoline and lives.
